We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Cliff restaurant before I headed for San Diego.

I drove down to Pacific Beach Tuesday night, stayed in a local hotel so I could be fresh for diving Wed morning.
Dock Life
The charter service is right on the water, very little hoofing required.

There were 6 of us on the boat for wreck diving Wednesday.

Always a dance to get everyone situated on the boat.
Divemaster
Chris was our resource for the trip. We enjoyed dives on the HMCS Yukon + Ruby E.
Royal Rooster
I enjoyed a table with a view for fish tacos at the Royal Rooster after our dives.
Next Morning
I stayed at the Wyndham Resort in the Gaslight District of San Diego and was back the next morning for kelp forest diving.
Humboldt
Our chariot for the day was MUCH larger as hurricane Kay was coming up the coast and had cancelled diving for Friday.
Roomy
They have a compressor on-board so only need to bring 1 tank per diver.
Easy Up
Going to be no issues re-boarding the boat with these ladders.
Foggy
Appears to be a bit more fog than yesterday.

LOTS more room for us to get organized, that's my dive buddy Joe in the foreground.

Lots of space inside to keep your dry stuff dry, and....

.... serve some drinks and light snacks.
On Our Way
We did 2 dives off Point Loma.
Drying Rack
I added a few screws to Mom's trellis to dry my gear after rinsing it. It RAINED on Friday but the cover allowed my gear to dry.
Tournament
We went down to Main Beach on Saturday to watch the sand volleyball tournament.
Pause
It was a bit drizzly, but there was a good turn-out.
Beached
There were people enjoying the water as well as watching the tournament.
