Road Trip
We drove from Laguna Beach, CA to Sedona, AZ.
Sedona Pines
We stayed at the Sedona Pines resort about 10 minutes outside Sedona.
Bungalow Bill
Each of the units was a little bungalow.

Mom and Julie had the bigger unit.
1st Apartment

Airport Mesa
On the first day we headed up to the airport mesa for the panoramic view of the area.

It's another BEAUTIFUL fall day in Sedona.

There was a deck with outside seating/eating areas between our units.
Chilly Lunch
We chose to sit outside for lunch, it was a bit chilly in the shade.
Traffic
This is LIGHT compared to the height of their season - 5 MILLION visitors a year!
City Entrance

Tour Us
We came back to town for a Pink Jeep tour of the area.

We took in the view while waiting for our departure time.

Jerome Bound
On our final day we visited the mining town of Jerome, AZ.
Back in the Day
It was a BOOMING mining town for decades pulling copper and other precious metals from the ground.
Not Much
Not much out there, we're here for the history.
Ore Processing
This may be the ore processing facility. It was up on the mountain with the mine for decades.
Stripped
BIG hole where the bulk of the copper was extracted.
Museum
We toured the museum before heading up to the town.
Missed It
We ended up on the other side of town looking for parking.

Heading out of Jerome to the Sedona Pines to rest before our evening of Star Gazing - it was AMAZING!! Thank you ladies for sharing this wonderful adventure with me.
