Bad Shape
The gutter above was leaking AND the shingles fed water right down the fascia!
Keep Out
I took down the solar panels for the outside lights and covered the hole until ready to start the repair.
Wood Prep
The 2x4 should have been replaced, but wasn't required to be. I primed it and filled it with wood putty.
New Wood
The new wood is fit and secured, ready for final nailing.
Ready for Caulk
It's ready for caulk and the final painting, but guess what? I discovered more fascia that needs some TLC (mostly paint and caulk).
