Masked and Ready
We left Cincinnati VERY early and changed planes in Charlotte.

El Cid
La Ceiba is a RCI resort south of the downtown area.
Taxi Please
We didn't rent a car, instead chose to take taxis everywhere (good choice).
Pool View
The pool was warm and inviting after a long trip, but....

The resort had a private little cove with a protected beach.

The restaurant was open with a FABULOUS view.
Lock-Off
We had a 2BR lock-off (2 rooms with a lockable door in between) - 2110 and 2111.

A first-floor room meant we got some lizard visitors.

Where Are We?
Our resort is located down by the cruise ship terminal below the boat icon. The current runs south to north (bottom to top) most of the time.
First Dive
We didn't know the resort had a dive shop on-site. We did a shore dive after arriving to check our gear.
Punta Tunich Reef
Sunday morning we headed out for a single boat dive on Punta Tunich Reef. GREAT way to start the trip.
Follow the Leader
The current allows us to drift right along almost without effort.

We wore 100ft3 SCUBA tanks which allowed us to remain underwater after the reef ended.
