We Stayed at the Wyndham Resort in Olde Towne Alexandria.
VERY Nice Accomodations, But a Much Different Experience vs. the National Harbor.
The Olde Towne Property is VERY Urban.
We Had a Nice 1BR Deluxe Corner Unit.
Can't Say We Used The Kitchen Much.
I Did Make My Shakes And We Popped Some Corn in the Microwave!
Our Room Was Right Next to the Metro Rail Line.
Not as Noisy as Expected, But Not Quiet Either.
On Saturday I Drove Anita to the Conference, Then...
... Met The Guidry's For Lunch.
We Had a Nice Meal w/ a Good View of the Potomac.
We Passed on the Riverboat Tour, But...
... Did Head Inside the Torpedo Factory to View the Artists and Were Surprised to Discover...
... an Icon From the Past!
We Toured the American Indian Museum...
You Could Spend an ENTIRE Day in This Museum.
Interesting Arrow Head Exhibit.
We Barely Had Time to Complete the Top Floor Before it Was Time to Leave to Pickup Anita.
After the DC Conference, Anita Went Back to Work Planning Her First Great Shelters Conference.
I Drove Her to BWI to Work More Efficiently at Home and I Went to the Baltimore Inner Harbor for Lunch.
It Was a Beautiful Afternoon.
The U.S.S. Constallation.
I Did Not Tour the Sub or the Boat.
Can You Imagine Being Up in That Rigging in a Storm?
I Considered Taking a Tour in a Dragon, But...
... Deceided to Watch Others.
Afterward, I Stayed w/ John Hessenauer and His Family.
He & Patty's Son Sam Was Graduating From High School - a Year Early!
Do You Remember Your High School Gymnasium?
It Was a Inter-School Ceremony.
Sam's The TALL One in Purple.
I Think John Was Surprised They Actually Gave Him His Dipolma.
Sam's Sister Julia and 1/2 Brother Alex.
Nice Close-Up. I Didn't Pack For a Formal Occassion.
Multiple Takes of a Family Portrait.
Hard to Pick One, When...
... Everyone is Preoccupied.
It Was a Wonderful Visit. Sure Wish We Could Spend More Time Together.
